Weston Underwood is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of the City of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. It is located about a mile west of Olney. The village name 'Weston' is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'western estate', possibly referring to the situation of the village in relation to Olney.

The parish of Weston Underwood has an area of 1, 873 acres, of which 477 are arable land, 1,150 permanent grass and 115 woods and plantations. (fn. 1) The soil is loam, in places rich, but elsewhere very poor; the subsoil is clay. The chief crops are wheat, barley, beans and oats.

William Cowper, the poet resided here for several years, during the latter part of his life. His walks around the place inspired many of his desciptions of nature. Cowper's Summerhouse and Alcove, Buckinghamshire. The 18th century poet William Cowper (1731-1800) was wont to write his works al fresco in a shelter in a garden or park. His first was a tiny 'nook' in his garden in the town of Olney, and he later composed lines in an alcove in the park at nearby Weston Underwood. Both survive today.
