There is an unmade road down to Beeleigh falls alongside the Museum of Power. It's a gated private road leading to the gold club but everyone seems to use it. Park alongside the road when you reach the falls. On the day of my visit there were 15 to 20 other cars. The falls is where the River Blackwater meets the Chelmer Navigation.

THE historic Beeleigh Abbey in Maldon opened its gardens to the public again in 2021. Today, August 13, is the first open day this month, with only five more left to visit the historic site. Beeleigh Abbey boasts three acres of riverside gardens. New for this year is the tea cabin and courtyard area, surrounded by Mediterranean style planting.

The famous garden at Ulting Wick has two dates for the public to enjoy the renowned displays of tulips and these are Sunday 25 April 11am to 5pm and Friday 30th April 2pm to 5pm.
